The Revenue Analyst provides accurate and timely billing invoices to our clients, ensures invoice amounts are properly recorded, and maintains bill rates and rules in alignment with client contracts. They are also responsible for communicating with customers to research invoice issues or collect on aged balances.
The role holder will work closely with teams across the organization.
Deliverables
Maintains billing system to accurately record revenue and AR based on contractual rates.
Records client payments to the ledger accounts and reconciles accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting.
Provides exceptional customer service and client experience by communicating with clients to answer questions and manage collection efforts and associated functions.
Adjusts invoices when necessary and collaborates with the client relationship team to ensure accurate bill and pay amounts.
Maintains client information and bill rates in appropriate systems and updates as needed.
Performs research on aged amounts in the ledger and recommends steps to resolve.
Assists with SOX compliance and controls.
Assists with conversion of billing from a third-party system to our internal ERP system.
Prepares other month end or miscellaneous journal entries to post into the ledger.
Evaluates and continuously improves processes and procedures.

Experience
3+ years of experience in revenue analysis, accounts receivable, and billing.
Experience with collection activities to resolve aged invoices.
Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to consistently meet necessary deadlines.
Proficiency with accounting software. QuickBooks or other ERP experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel preferred.
Experience with staffing related billing highly preferred.
Identifying and suggesting ideas for process improvement.
Relationship building skills with stakeholders across multiple departments.
Demonstrates initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
